You're absolutely correct. Our free nation should limit the representation on a national scale of any state that is ';different'; by whatever standards the others declare. We should also mock said state and call it legitimate political discourse. Washington, Jefferson, and the thousands of men who fought, bled, and died for this nation's very existence would be so proud.Salmon, grizzly bears, oil. We all have to come from somewhere and I imagine you would find me a very unfit candidate because my state has tornadoes, tumble weeds, cows, wheat, and the Dorthy and Toto thing.

I'd say Alaska better represents the values of the heartland of America than a Washington insider who has lived in that pit for most of his life. Anyone who has been to Washington knows that is a totally different world than the rest of the country.
